2019 Cheer Information

Cheer Cost:

$100 Registration, $220 Uniform & Spirit Pack, $100 Parent Participation Fee, and $50 Raffle Ticket-League Fundraising. Total is $470.


*Cheer Uniform & Spirit Pack is for your athlete to keep.

*$100 Parent Participation Fee is refunded at the end of the season, if ten (10) or more volunteer hours are completed.

*$50 Raffle Tickets are recouped when your athlete sells them.


Age Level:

Mascots: 4 and 5 years old

Junior Varsity: 6 years old thru 10 years old

Varsity: 11 years old thru 14 years old

*Age as of August 1st, 2019


Free Cheer Camp:

June 15, 2019 and June 22, 2019 at Community Park Two, 20 Benton Way, AC.

(Near the AC Boys and Girls Club.) 


9:00-11:00 AM cheer camp.


Bring water and a light healthy snack.

Wear athletic clothing, workout shoes, and hair pulled back into a ponytail.

-League registration is not required. However, a signed participation form by a guardian is required during check-in.

Friends and family are invited to view a Cheer Showcase at 10:45AM. Please come and see what your athlete learned at camp!!!!


Uniform Fitting:

Monday, July 1st at Community Park One from 6:30-7:30PM.

A second uniform fitting will be held on Monday, July 8th at Community Park One from 6:30-7:30PM. Cheerleaders must wear tightly fitted clothing: swimsuit, tanktop and bike shorts, etc. Dressing rooms are not available. 


4th of July Parade:

If you have a returning ACYF Cheerleader or if your Cheerleader is registered before July 4th, you are invited to participate in the 2019 American Canyon 4th of July Parade. Cheerleaders will decorate and ride on a float. *Information will be emailed to registered ACYF Cheerleaders prior to the event.


Conditioning Camp:

Week One: July 15th thru July 18th, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM.

Week Two: July 22nd thru 25th, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM.

Location: Community Park One, 1400 Rio Grande, AC. 



Practice begins on Monday, July 29th, 2019 at Community Park One from 6:00-8:00PM. 

Practice will be held every Monday thru Friday.


After Football Jamboree, practice will drop down to three (3) days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00PM at Community Park One. Jamboree will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. *More information to come.

7/27/19 UCA Cheer Clinic, 12:00-4:00PM at Oakridge High School.

10/6/19 SYF Showcase (Location and Times TBD)

11/3/19 SYF Competition at Oakridge High School. (Times TBD)
